Advantages of the AKLIDES
® Kyto compared to manual analysis

Immunofluorescence plays a major part in the diagnosis of systemic autoimmune diseases, however this method used to bare disadvantages:

Ring trial Instand, 2006:
Results of an ANA-titer analyzed by a number of laboratories

Noticeably, a missing standardization is a grave disadvantage of IFA.

The different results originate for example in the observation of a probe under different sources of light. Hereby, the light intensities can be perceived differently. This is an issue while observing mixed patterns and matters in titer prediction.

Manual analysis is furthermore staff-, cost- and time-consuming, while the results resemble only snapshots and archiving or subsequent processing are not possible.

There are disadvantages in standardization, automation and
data handling and management

This is where AKLIDES® steps in:

The AKLIDES® technology utilizes all merits of IFA

The AKLIDES® technology eradicates limitations of IFA
